Flight Booking
SKYSCANNER
Skyscanner is one of my favorite sites to visit when I need to book a flight. I love seeing the different options and that they have an everywhere feature.
Accommodation
AIRBNB
Airbnb is great if you don’t want to stay in a hotel while you are traveling or if you can’t find a hotel in the area. I’ve stayed at plenty of Airbnb’s and have had a wonderful stay every time.
Rental Cars
TRAVELOCITY
This site is from my days working at the car rental nearly a decade ago. I still find myself checking Travelocity first when I need to book a car.
Trains
OMIO
Trains in Europe are nothing like trains in America. I’ve spent a fortune purchasing tickets at the train counter right before departure and I’ve also saved money by booking trains in advance, so I highly recommend searching for and booking trips in advance.
Internet Abroad
TRAVELSIM
I always keep my travel sim in my wallet so it’s easy to find when I leave the country. Rates are far more reasonable than activating an international plan with my home cell carrier.
SOLIS
Solis is a popular option for travel bloggers and digital nomads on the go. I do not have any personal experience with them, but I know plenty of travelers that have and swear by it.
Hotels
HOTELS.COM
Hotels.com is my go-to for finding hotels outside of any rewards programs I have. They have their own rewards program where you stay at any ten hotels and get a free night.
CHOICE HOTELS
Choice is the first hotel chain I started earning points and free nights with. They have hotels in most US cities/towns and some international locations.
IHG HOTELS
IHG Hotels was my second hotel’s rewards program. They have a wide selection of hotels for every budget. I’m a huge fan of their luxury hotels.
European Flights
KLM
When flying to Europe, I almost always fly into Amsterdam which is KLM’s hub. On KLM I can get almost anywhere in Europe and beyond.
EASYJET
EasyJet is a fantastic budget airline based in the UK. I’ve flown with them multiple times and always look for their flights when booking trips in Europe.
Camera Gear
NIKON
My Nikons have been my go-to travel companions for years, I’d never be able to leave home without a camera. I currently have a D750 full-frame camera.
At the time of writing this, if I were to purchase a new camera it would be a Nikon Z7II.
Tours + Activities
VIATOR
Viator has day trips and multiday tours all around the world. Whatever experience you’re looking for, Viator probably has it.
AIRBNB EXPERIENCES
Looking to do things like a local? Airbnb Experiences has you covered.

Chester Minima Carry-On Review
I was approached by Chester to review their Minima carry-on case. Let’s start with I love it. Full disclosure though, I didn’t like the color…
